This is an ideal machine for those who don’t like the hassle of frothing their own milk. This brewer makes the coffee and steams the milk simultaneously (you can use this for hot chocolate as well) and produces the perfect cappucino or latte. What better than presenting your guests with a perfect layered cappucino in a classy glass!
Other coffee machines often heat the milk and use a frother to build up the foam. This machine, however , provides you with freshly steamed milk at exactly the right temperature, thus producing the best tasting coffee (for best results, remember to heat the cup before you brew).
One of the hassles of machines with built in milk steamers is issue cleaning. The DeLonghi has a very simple system in which you simply slide the milk tray into the front of the machine, and press one button. After you have finished, you simply slide the tray out and store it in the refridgerator. There is a built in automatic cleaning function.
Coming in different colours (red, white, blue, silver), the Latissima uses the Nespresso capsule system, which are automatically ejected into a container.

Why People do not like this coffee machine

One frequent comment is that the water container (which is smaller than on previous models: 0.9lit vs. 1.0 lit.) is a bit on the small side, especially if you are wanting to make espresso and have steamed milk. It is, however, relatively easy to refill. Another frequent comment is that the milk is not steamed to an acceptable temperature, and some people complained that their coffee is not warm enough. The third most common complaint is that the milk steamer produces too much foam, although this is adjustable. And, finally, some people have had issues with customer service, and the fact that some parts do not apear to be covered by warranty. In this case, it seems that only working parts are covered, and not parts like lids.
